S. Giles College, in cooperation with the Pacific Association for Recreating the Middle Ages, presents a two-day workshop in swordsmanship based on the Flos Duellatorum by Fiore Dei Liberi taught by Bob Charron (Duke Conn MacNeil). This manuscript was written in the early Fifteenth Century and is one of the earliest manuals of swordsmanship in Europe.
The workshop will be held at the University of Victoria. Pre-registration is required. Cost is $100 per person ($90 UVic Students and PARMA members). Registrations received after September 1st will be subject to a $10 late fee. No meals or accommodation provided. Any funds collected in excess of the costs and expenses of the workshop will be donated to the PARMA scholarship fund in support of students in the University of Victoria Medieval Studies Department.
